RUN IT UP - Teasure Hunt

Overview of the Event

FOSSUCEK successfully organized RUN IT UP – Treasure Hunt on April 11, 2024, as part of its efforts to promote student engagement, creative thinking, and collaborative learning. The event was designed to challenge participants intellectually while providing a fun and energetic environment for students to interact and compete. Open to all students, the hunt drew nine enthusiastic teams, each eager to test their wits and teamwork against a series of well-crafted clues hidden around the campus. Participants were required to decipher riddles, solve puzzles, and make quick decisions under time pressure. The treasure hunt not only offered a break from academic routines but also encouraged exploration of the campus in a unique and exciting way. With seamless coordination and active involvement from volunteers and coordinators, the event ran smoothly from start to finish, creating a memorable experience for everyone involved.

Event Highlights

• The hunt kicked off from the Central Circle, with each team receiving their first clue.
• A total of five clues were placed strategically across the campus, each more challenging than the last.
• The final location was the Geology Department, where the treasure was hidden.
• After an exciting and competitive journey, Ajesh and his team emerged victorious, solving all clues and finding the treasure first.
• The winners received a grand prize of ₹1000/-, adding a thrilling reward to the achievement.

Feedback and Evaluation

Participants praised the event for its creativity, smooth coordination, and the balance between difficulty and fun. Many expressed interest in more such events in the future. The organizing team received positive feedback for the clue design and event flow. Overall, RUN IT UP was deemed a great success, with high levels of engagement and enthusiasm throughout.
